QuickBooks for Investors: Is It Really Worth It?
"What got you here won’t get you there. Manual spreadsheets and guesswork won’t scale your real estate business—but the right systems will."
Managing finances is one of the biggest challenges real estate investors face—whether you're flipping properties, running short-term rentals, or growing a long-term portfolio. But tracking numbers manually? That only gets you so far.
In this video, I break down how real estate investors can use QuickBooks to automate bookkeeping, eliminate spreadsheets, and gain valuable insights into their profits and losses. I’ll also share the pros, cons, and real-world use cases so you can decide if QuickBooks is right for your business.

Beyond the Comfort Zone: The Peaks and Valleys of Full-Time Travel
This week marks the end of our time in Hanoi as we move on to new adventures in Vietnam. Leaving is bittersweet—we’ve loved our time here and could have easily stayed longer.

But not every departure feels this way. There have been times when I couldn't wait to move on, counting down the days until we left a particular city. Travel, like life, is full of highs and lows—moments when I never want to return to the U.S. and others when I want to cancel everything and book the next flight home.

Reflecting on this, I realize it's true for anything worth doing. When you're pursuing something big, whether it's travel, business, or personal growth, there will be moments when you feel on top of the world and others that test you. To experience those "Level 10" highs, you have to be willing to go through the "Level 1" struggles. The alternative? Settling for a steady "Level 5"—never facing big challenges, but also never reaching incredible wins.

or me, the valleys are worth it if it means I get to experience the peaks—both in travel and in life.
